Every time I used our stainless steel spice container I always thought it would be a challenge to make one in porcelain. Indian spice dabba (container) come with up to 6 little containers - sometimes even 8 all held together in a compact larger container. I made these with up to 5 little containers and though they are made with spices in mind they can be used for storing chutney, dips or breakfast jam. These containers also have small spoons; these are hand carved and some are made with bone and some with wood. Besides making these containers I also like making other containers, such as jam jars and small salt pots
